Used Nissan Cars and SUVs in Des Arc, AR
This page holds every used Nissan on the lot at D3 Auto Sales, 2410 Main Street in Des Arc, Arkansas. We are known locally for trucks, so the Nissan inventory plays a different role here: it is the commuter and first-car end of the lot.
The stock regularly includes Altima and Sentra sedans, Rogue crossovers, the occasional Maxima, and an NV passenger van when one comes through.

The commuter end of the lot
Sentra
The small-car answer to an hour each way. A noticeably more grown-up car from the 2020 redesign onward.
Altima
The mid-size sedan, and the one most people on this page are searching for by name. Available with all-wheel drive from 2019.
Rogue
A higher seating position and more room behind the back seat, without moving into truck fuel economy. Redesigned for 2021.
Maxima & NV
The larger sedan when one comes through, plus an NV passenger van from time to time.
Why these cars move on a truck lot
Not everyone shopping in Prairie County needs a three-quarter-ton truck, and the people who come to this page usually have a specific problem: a daily drive that eats fuel. Des Arc to Little Rock on US-70 and I-40 is around an hour each way, and plenty of people in Des Arc, Hazen, Carlisle and De Valls Bluff make some version of that run for work. A full-size truck does that commute expensively. A Sentra or an Altima does it for a fraction of the running cost, which is why these cars move steadily here even on a lot that leans heavily toward trucks.
If you need more space than a Rogue offers, it is worth looking at our full SUV inventory rather than restricting yourself to one badge — three-row options sit on other pages.
Altima, Sentra and Rogue model years worth knowing
| Model | The year that matters |
|---|
| Altima | Moved to its sixth generation for 2019, which was the first time Nissan offered all-wheel drive on an Altima in the United States. If you want a sedan that is a little more sure-footed on a wet county road, that is the generation to shop. |
| Sentra | Fully redesigned for 2020: a lower, wider body and a substantially better interior than the car it replaced. |
| Rogue | Redesigned for the 2021 model year. |
| Transmission | Across most of this range Nissan uses a continuously variable transmission rather than a conventional stepped automatic. A CVT holds the engine at an efficient speed instead of shifting through gears, so it feels different under acceleration. |
If you have not driven a CVT, drive one before you decide — it is the single thing people react to most on a test drive.
What actually decides your running cost
On a commuter car the thing that decides your real cost is not the sticker, it is what has been deferred. Tires, brakes and a timing service due in the next few thousand miles can quietly add up to more than the difference between two cars on the lot, and that gap is invisible in a listing photo.
It is worth asking directly about those items on any car you are serious about, and worth having a vehicle looked over rather than assuming. Our service department is on site and takes appointments for most vehicles regardless of where they were purchased, so that is a conversation we can have before you commit rather than after.
Financing a commuter car or a first car
A lot of the people buying from this page are either buying their first car outright or putting a younger driver into something dependable, and the financing question comes before the model question. You can see where you stand first: our pre-qualification runs with no impact to your credit, there is a no-SSN option if you would rather not provide that detail before you have chosen a car, and a Capital One pre-qualification route as well. Knowing the number first means you are shopping a short list rather than the whole lot.
Before you apply
The main credit application hands off to a third-party lender's own site to finish, so the last few steps happen with them rather than with us. If you would rather just talk it through, call (870) 256-1600. And if a friend or family member ends up buying here on your recommendation, our referral program pays $100 for every referral who purchases.
Frequently asked questions
Is a used Nissan a good car to buy?
Like any used car, the specific vehicle matters more than the badge. On these models the things worth checking are service history and how the car was driven, and on anything with a CVT it is worth taking a longer test drive than you normally would, because the way it delivers power is the thing people react to. Our listings show the trim and drivetrain, and our service department can look over anything you are serious about.
Where can I find used cars for sale near Little Rock?
D3 Auto Sales is at 2410 Main Street in Des Arc, about an hour east of Little Rock on US-70, and we are worth the drive if you want something the metro lots have already sold through. Our full
used car inventory covers every make we stock. Call (870) 256-1600 before you set off and we will confirm what is actually on the ground.
What is the cheapest Nissan you have for sale?
That changes as cars sell, so the live listings are the only reliable answer — sort the
inventory by price to see today's range. Sedans like the Sentra and Altima generally sit at the more affordable end of our lot, since most of our stock is full-size trucks. If you are working to a monthly figure rather than a sticker price, pre-qualifying first will give you a more useful short list.
Does the Nissan Altima come with all-wheel drive?
On the sixth-generation Altima, from the 2019 model year onward, yes — that generation was the first to offer all-wheel drive on the Altima in the United States. Earlier Altimas are front-wheel drive. Not every sixth-generation car on a lot will be an AWD example, so check the drivetrain field on the individual listing.
Can a first-time buyer get financed at D3?
You can find out without any risk to your credit. The pre-qualification runs with no credit impact, and there is a no-SSN option if you would rather not share that up front. What you qualify for comes down to the application rather than anything we can promise on a web page, so the useful step is to run it and see. The main credit application finishes on a third-party lender's site.
